The Latvian Olympic Committee (LOC) in collaboration with the formal wear partner — the Italian fashion brand DAN JOHN — presented the ceremonial outfits for Latvian athletes and the delegation for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The outfits are created to strengthen the sense of belonging to the Latvian Team and to present our country on the international stage — in elegant silhouettes of Italian design with a Latvian mood, it is reported on the official website.
The clothing is designed based on the traditions of elegance — clear silhouettes, modern forms, and a thoughtful overall image that combines Latvian aesthetics with current trends in Italian design. The collection is based on a carefully selected color palette and a classic yet modern style. The outfits meet official requirements, ensuring comfort, lightness, and a bright image, allowing the Latvian delegation to look harmonious and stand out in the international environment.
“ This collaboration is not just about clothing. It symbolizes the strength and confidence of the Latvian team in the world. In the formal attire, the elegance of Italy meets the Latvian character, creating a recognizable and expressive image of our delegation. We are proud that DAN JOHN is part of the Latvian team at the Olympic Games in Italy,” noted Kristiānis Caune, a board member of DJ BALTICS.
The collection includes a burgundy turtleneck sweater and a matching double-breasted jacket, a gray double-breasted coat, and light trousers — creating a visually balanced and elegant look. The wool used in the jacket and coat provides warmth, natural draping, and maintains elegance and comfort, reflecting confidence and readiness to represent Latvia at the largest sporting event in the world.

The look is complemented by carefully selected accents: unique bracelets with the symbolism of three silver stars, suitable for both men and women, symbolizing Latvian identity and belonging to the Latvian team. The women's set additionally includes a scarf with a Latvian pattern.
It is expected that these outfits will be used by delegation representatives at official receptions and events before, during, and after the Olympic Games.
