Legends of men's tennis – multiple Grand Slam tournament winners, 44-year-old Swiss Roger Federer and 39-year-old Spaniard Rafael Nadal are contemplating organizing a series of tournaments in which veterans of the sport will participate.
“Recently, I played four hours of tennis in San Francisco, and then in Los Angeles. So I am in pretty good shape. I am thinking about organizing something like 'Fedal'. I think it will be interesting for the spectators,” shared Roger FEDERER about his plans. Specific dates, venues, and participants for the competitions have not yet been announced.
The Swiss player ended his professional tennis career in 2022. The Spaniard announced a similar decision in 2024. Nevertheless, both have remained close to the sport. For instance, Roger Federer often trains and shares relevant videos on social media.
In particular, the current leader of the men's world ranking, Carlos Alcaraz, has been keeping him in shape. As for Rafael Nadal, he has his own tennis academy in Spain.
