Six-time Grand Slam tournament winner, world number two Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek recorded her 60th win in 2025.
Yesterday, on October 7, she defeated Czech player Marie Bouzkova (6-1, 6-1) in the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China.
Notably, Swiatek has achieved 60 or more wins for four consecutive seasons. In 2022, she won 67 matches, in 2023 - 68, and in 2024 - 64.
Thus, she became the first tennis player in the 21st century to have 60 or more wins for four consecutive years. The last time such an achievement was accomplished was by American Lindsay Davenport and Swiss Martina Hingis (both from 1997 to 2001).
