The parliament today restored the powers of several deputies of the 14th Saeima and also approved temporary deputy mandates for several individuals.

By the decision of the Saeima, the powers of Arvils Asheradens ("New Unity"), Raimonds Čudars ("New Unity"), and Atis Švinka ("Progressives") were restored.

The deputies also approved temporary deputy mandates for Raivis Kalejs ("United List"), Arnolds Jatnieks (National Alliance), Girts Štekerhofs (Union of Greens and Farmers), Davis Melnalksnis ("United List"), and Janis Eglitis (National Alliance).

Later, the Saeima also approved a temporary mandate for Ieva Brante ("United List"), who did not attend the Saeima meeting in the morning, therefore the question regarding her mandate was temporarily postponed.
