Thanks to those drones that have moved something from a standstill.

Political scientist and publicist Jurgis Liepnieks reflected on the implications of drones entering Latvia on the social network X. Here are his somewhat unexpected conclusions:

"Frankly, I think that the drones that flew into Latvia are the most valuable thing that has happened to us as a society and a state in recent years. FINALLY, we are starting to understand reality, even if only in micro-amounts, but we are beginning to grasp reality. FINALLY, some real actions are starting to take place to understand all the complexities of detection, to understand the problems of alerting, civil defense, and organizing life. Finally, the general public is beginning to understand that some politicians have been sabotaging, some are helpless, and this cannot be tolerated. The detection system does not work, the 112 website crashes, alerts are chaotic, poorly thought out, etc., not to mention shooting down a drone, providing shelters...

Thanks to those drones that have moved something from a standstill without casualties. But a change of government, of course, does not solve anything by itself. I hope that actions will follow."
