The greatest decline in popularity among the parties was recorded for the National Alliance (NA), while among the partners of the former government, the highest rating is for the party "Progressives," according to the results of a survey conducted by the SKDS research center on behalf of Latvian Television (LTV).

The survey was conducted before the events that led to the fall of the government of Evika Silina ("New Unity").

If the elections were held tomorrow, the party "Latvia First" would receive 9.3% of the votes — an increase of 2.4 percentage points. In second place would be the "Progressives" with 7.8% — the party's rating increased by 0.9 percentage points. Next is the "United List," which 6.8% of voters are ready to support — an increase of 0.8 percentage points.

The next most popular party is "Sovereign Power" with unchanged support at 6.2%. Following them is the coalition "New Unity" with a rating of 5.9%.

The support for the Union of Greens and Farmers (ZZS) has also increased, just like that of the "Progressives," by 0.9 percentage points, reaching 5.6%.

Meanwhile, the rating of the National Alliance has decreased the most sharply — from 6.4% to 4.4%.

At the bottom of the rating is the party "Platform 21" with support from 0.2% of voters. Next are the movement "Par!" with 0.3%, the New Conservative Party — with 0.7%. The Latvian Russian Union and the party "Rising Sun of Latvia" would each receive 1%, "Harmony" — 1.5%, and "For the Development of Latvia" — 1.7%.

The support for the party "Stabilitātei!" in this survey decreased by 0.1 percentage points — to 2.6%. At the same time, the party "We Change the Rules" increased its support from 2.1% to 3.3%.

After recalculating the responses of only those respondents who have already made their choice and are ready to participate in the elections, eight parties would overcome the five percent barrier.

The first place would be shared by "Latvia First" and "Progressives" — both at 14.9%. Next would be the "United List" with 11.5%, "New Unity" — with 11.3%, "Sovereign Power" — with 10%, ZZS — with 8.7%, the National Alliance — with 8.2%, and the party "We Change the Rules" would for the first time overcome the passing barrier with 5.2%.

Below the five percent threshold in this recalculation would remain "Stabilitātei!", "For the Development of Latvia", "Harmony" and other parties.
