Perhaps Evika Silina decided not to wait for the Saeima to vote on her resignation today.
All attempts by Evika Silina to remain in the position of Prime Minister seem to have been in vain. In any case, at 10:30 she will make a statement, and it is to be expected that it will be a resignation announcement. Perhaps this is how Silina is trying to avoid being removed from office by a decision of the Saeima - the necessary signatures from deputies for this have already been collected. The question is whether 'New Unity' will participate in negotiations to form a new government or... will wait for a pause. Without 'New Unity', the right-nationalist coalition does not have a majority and therefore will not be able to form a government.
