The "core" of the new coalition hopes to create a new government within two weeks.

This evening, on live Latvian TV, the leader of the United List faction in the Saeima, Edgars Tavars, mentioned that theoretically, it would be possible to create a minority government consisting of the "core" formed today. Namely: from the National Alliance, the United List, and the Union of Greens and Farmers. These three parties in the Saeima, considering the support of independent deputies, can gather a maximum of 43 votes. Again, if an agreement is reached with part of the remaining opposition (for example, if they do not register during the plenary session), such a government can also be approved by a majority of the present deputies. However, it will be quite difficult for such a government to operate and it will resemble the current resigned Silin government in terms of influence - that is, with limited capacity to act. Therefore, a more realistic scenario is to attract a fourth partner in the form of either "New Unity" or "Latvia First."

One of the leaders of the National Alliance, Janis Dombrava, expressed hope on Latvian TV that a new government could be formed within two weeks.
