Maris Andžāns, the director of the Center for Geopolitical Studies, noted in an interview with Latvian TV that Andris Sprūds praised Latvia for its incredible successes in drone technology, calling our country a drone power. "Now it turns out that the king is naked, and the Latvian sky is leaky," concluded the political scientist, comparing Sprūds to Baron Munchausen. "He spoke of Latvia as a drone state, but the incident with drones in Latgale indicates that the counter-drone defense is not in the best condition," added M. Andžāns.
