Former defense minister on the method of shooting down drones.
Former Minister of Defense Artis Pabriks suggested using a simple method for the "elimination" of flying drones: "Even in Moscow, the Kremlin regime uses anti-drone systems consisting of a machine gun mounted on a pickup truck. What prevents us from using such an additional element?" A number of commentators referred to the fact that, apparently, regulations do not allow for such a method. To this, Pabriks noted that no one is stopping the Saeima from changing the legislation.
