The independent parliamentarian identified two individuals who, in his opinion, should be dismissed after the drone incident.
The political "hive" continues to buzz regarding the incident with the drone incursion in Latgale. Independent deputy Didzis Šmits reacted to today’s statement by Defense Minister Andris Sprūds that if the Saeima decides to dismiss him, he "will respect that decision."
"It’s interesting how he could not respect the Saeima’s decision? Just an IDIOT! But Sprūds is actually a triviality, one of the standard-bearers of pathetic universal helplessness. The commander of the National Armed Forces, however, should have been summoned by the Saeima. And, as is stylish to say now, 'preliminarily,' he should be dismissed," the deputy wrote on the social network X.
