Who is the most popular candidate for Prime Minister?

Ainars Slesers leads the popularity ranking according to the results of the Gemius survey.

A survey conducted by Gemius revealed the opinions of Latvian internet users regarding political parties, and the data indicates that 14.3% of respondents would vote for "Latvia First" (LPV), increasing its popularity by 5.9 percentage points compared to the survey conducted by Gemius in February. In second place is "Progressives" (P) with 14.1%, showing an increase of 0.9 percentage points. The third place is held by "New Unity" (JV) with 9.4%, and the party's support has decreased by 5.7 percentage points.

Following are the National Alliance with 8.4%, whose support has decreased by 0.5 percentage points, and the United List (AO) with 8.2%, which is an increase of 1.3 percentage points. "We Change the Rules" (MMN) is currently supported by 8.1% of respondents, an increase of 0.8 percentage points, while 6.1% of respondents are ready to vote for "Sovereign Power", which is an increase of 0.8 percentage points.

The Union of Greens and Farmers (SZK) is supported by 5.2% of respondents, which is 1.1 percentage points more than in February, while "For the Development of Latvia" (LA) stands at 3.9%, which is an increase of 1.7 percentage points. "Harmony" (S) reaches 2.9%, showing a decrease of 1.3 percentage points, and "Stability!" is ready to be supported by 2.2% of voters, which is a decrease of 0.6 percentage points.

In turn, when asked which candidate for Prime Minister they would vote for, 14.5% stated that they would like to see Ainars Slesers (LPV) in this position, which is an increase of 5.2 percentage points compared to February, allowing him to take the lead. Andris Kulbergs (AO) receives 10.4% - a decrease of 0.9 percentage points, while 8.6% of users would choose Evika Silina (JV) as the next Prime Minister, which is a decrease of 3.3 percentage points. It is worth noting that similar results for the Prime Minister candidates were shown in a public opinion poll conducted by sociologists SKDS.

Next are Julia Stepanenko (SV/AJ) with 5.4%, whose support has decreased by 0.6 percentage points, Alvis Hermanis (MMN) with 4.9%, maintaining the previous level, and Artis Pabriks (LA) with 4.9%, which is a decrease of 0.7 percentage points. Kaspars Briškens (P) gains 4.2%, showing an increase of 0.9 percentage points, while Ilze Indrikson (National Alliance) stands at 3.7%, which is a slight increase of 0.1 percentage points.
