With the escalation of the war in the Middle East, the average price of diesel fuel at the gas stations of the largest Latvian networks has increased to two euros per liter, according to aggregated data from the LETA agency.
At the gas stations of a major fuel retailer, the average price of diesel fuel increased by 29.6% - from 1.554 euros per liter on February 27 to 2.014 euros per liter this Friday.
The average price of 95-octane gasoline at these gas stations rose by approximately 15.4% - from 1.554 euros per liter on February 27 to 1.794 euros per liter on Friday.
At the gas stations of another major fuel retailer, the average price of diesel fuel increased by approximately 33.4% - from 1.497 euros per liter on February 27 to 1.997 euros per liter this Friday.
The average price of 95-octane gasoline at these gas stations rose by approximately 17.9% - from 1.507 euros per liter on February 27 to 1.777 euros per liter this Friday.
