Latvian Foreign Ministry summoned a representative of Russia and handed him a note 0 12

A note condemning Russia's large-scale air attack on Ukraine on the night of March 6 to 7 was handed to the representative of the embassy.

The Foreign Ministry emphasized that this attack was directed against the energy, railway, and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine in several regions. As a result, several dozen residents of Ukraine were injured and killed, including children and infants.

Last week, on the night from Friday to Saturday, Russia attacked Ukraine with 480 drones and 29 missiles, reported the Ukrainian Air Force.

The air defense forces were unable to neutralize some of them. Hits were recorded from nine missiles and 26 strike drones in 22 locations, and debris fell in five places.

Russia attacked Ukraine with two hypersonic "Zircon" missiles, 13 ballistic "Iskander-M/S-400" missiles, and 14 cruise "Kalibr" missiles.

The main areas of attack were Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernivtsi regions.
