Independent Saeima deputy Aleksandrs Kiršteins is confident in an interview with TV-24 that the fate of the current ruling coalition may be determined by two votes. "If the Saeima supports the debt write-off for the Ventspils port, as insisted by the 'green farmers', then the 'progressives' promise to immediately leave the government. If this proposal for debt write-off is not supported, then the 'green farmers' may not withdraw their initiative to close the Society Integration Fund. And if the decision to close the Fund is made by the parliament, then the coalition will also collapse," believes the independent deputy.
