“One of the challenges that the UK defense is currently facing is how to make a smaller army more effective over a larger area,” said Brigadier General Matt Lewis. As Bloomberg notes, British military officials believe that the new technology will “change the battlefield” in a potential war with Russia in the Baltic states.
