The post-holiday work week in Latvia will start with fairly warm, but cloudy weather, although rain will occur only in some areas, shares the forecast from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On the night of Thursday, there will be variable cloudiness, with brief rain in some areas of the east at the beginning of the night. A light wind will blow, and fog will form in some regions. The air temperature will drop to +10 to +14 degrees, with it being a degree warmer in some coastal areas.
In Riga, the night will be marked by variable cloudiness, a light wind, and no precipitation. The air temperature is expected to be around +15 degrees.
Thursday will be cloudy, with some clearings in places. Brief rain is expected in some areas of the eastern part of the country. A light wind will blow, and the air will warm up to +21 to +26 degrees, reaching +18 to +21 degrees in Vidzeme and some coastal areas of the bay.
In Riga, the sky will be intermittently covered by clouds, but they will not bring significant precipitation. A light wind will blow, and the air will warm up to +22 to +24 degrees.
