Investment banker Girts Rungainis, in an interview with blackboxsovs on TikTok, answered the question of why Latvia is lagging behind Lithuania in economic development.

"I would ban Latvians from using the rule - 'Measure seven times and cut once.' After all, what do Lithuanians do? While some are measuring, others have already prepared option 'B' and a decision is made quickly. Meanwhile, Latvians are still measuring seven times... the train has already left," the expert noted and urged Latvians to act faster, more creatively, and bolder.
