The sky will be partly cloudy. In some areas of eastern Latvia, brief rain showers are possible, and late in the evening, a broader area of precipitation will begin to cover the country from the northwest.
During the day, the air temperature will range from +17 to +22 degrees. On the coast, it will traditionally be cooler — in some places not exceeding +15 degrees.
In Riga, no precipitation is expected during the day, and the sun will occasionally peek through. The wind in the capital will also strengthen: gusts of the northwestern wind may reach 14 meters per second.
The air temperature in Riga will rise to about +20 degrees, although it will feel noticeably fresher by the sea.
Such weather may feel less comfortable for walks by the water and in open spaces, especially in the evening when the wind will noticeably strengthen.
With gusts above 15 meters per second, meteorologists usually advise being cautious near trees, construction sites, and temporary structures.
The weather conditions in the region are currently determined by the northeastern edge of the anticyclone.
