The acting head of Latvia’s Foreign Ministry promptly refuted the statement from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service. They stated today that "Ukrainian UAV operators have already arrived in Latvia."

This morning, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stated that previously drones entered Russia through the skies of the Baltic states, and now unmanned aerial vehicles are planned to be launched directly from the territory of these countries to reduce flight time and increase the effectiveness of strikes.

It is claimed that Ukrainian UAV operators have already arrived in Latvia, allegedly stationed at the Latvian military bases "Adazi", "Seliya", "Lielvarde", "Daugavpils", and "Jekabpils". They are waiting for orders to strike Russia.

Moscow threatens Latvia with a retaliatory strike: "The coordinates of decision-making centers in Latvia are known, and the country's NATO membership will not protect the accomplices of terrorists from just retribution."

“Russia Lies Again!” This time it is the SVR, or the Foreign Intelligence Service, conducting a disinformation campaign against Latvia.

FACT: Latvia does NOT provide airspace for attacks on Russia. This has been explained several times to Russian representatives,” wrote acting Foreign Minister Baiba Braže on social media.

It is worth noting that a recent incursion of Ukrainian drones into Latvia led to the resignation of the Minister of Defense and subsequently the entire government.

At the same time, both Kyiv and the authorities of the Baltic states deny that drones entered Russia from the territory of the Baltic states. It was stated that they deviated from their course due to the actions of Russian electronic warfare.
