In the afternoon and evening, brief rains are expected in the west of the country, and thunderstorms may occur in some areas.

What is important to know: the current warming remains unstable. The weather in the region continues to be influenced by a cyclone over Scandinavia, so local rains and sharp changes in cloudiness will persist in the coming days.
Atmospheric pressure in Latvia varies by region — from 998 hPa in Kurzeme to 1004 hPa in Latgale. The lower pressure in the west of the country is associated with a higher likelihood of precipitation and thunderstorms.
Against the backdrop of previous cold and rainy days, even such temperatures will feel noticeably more comfortable, especially in the central part of the country.
