The weather remains unstable — on the last day of the month, precipitation and coolness will return to parts of Latvia.
On Thursday, April 30, light rain is expected in the central and eastern regions of the country, with wet snow in some places, meteorologists report. The sky will be mostly cloudy, but in Kurzeme, there will be some clearings, and in the morning, the sun may appear in Latgale.
The temperature will rise to +4…+9 degrees, with some areas in the west reaching up to +12. The wind will be from the west, light to moderate.
In Riga, light rain is possible, and the wind will shift from the southwest to the northwest, with temperatures warming up to around +9 degrees.
The weather is currently influenced by a warm atmospheric front — more summery warm weather is expected in early May.
