Ukraine is ready to assist in creating the Baltic defense line — this was mentioned today at the international security conference in Kyiv, reports LTV.
The conference was attended by the Commander of the National Armed Forces, General Kaspars Pudans, who met with the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Latvian television believes that the participation of the Ukrainian side is important for creating the Baltic defense line. In particular, Ukrainian experience in drone tactics and their integration into combat operations will be useful.
Pudans acknowledged in an interview that it is not easy for Ukraine to divert people from the front, but they are ready to come and help review Latvian combat plans, offer solutions, and make Latvian military forces significantly stronger.
At the Kyiv Security Forum discussion, politicians and military officials analyzed the development of the Russian war against Ukraine and its impact on European and global security.
During the discussion, issues of long-term support for Ukraine, strengthening the resilience of Ukrainian society, and maintaining political priorities in the context of a protracted war were raised.
