Yesterday, the first triplets of this year were born in Riga Maternity Hospital - two boys and one girl, reported LETA agency, citing Baiba Auzane, the communication manager of Riga Maternity Hospital.
A girl weighing 1080 grams was born at 17:44, followed by the middle child - a boy weighing 1280 grams, born a minute later. The youngest brother, weighing 1070 grams, was born at 17:48.
The parents of the triplets are from Valmiera.
According to the maternity hospital, four sisters and a brother are already waiting for the triplets at home.
