Starting today, spring break begins for schoolchildren and will last until March 13.
This year, summer vacation for students in grades 1–8 and 10–11 will be from June 1 to August 31.
As before, schools have the right to provide an additional week of vacation for first-grade students in the second semester if necessary for the well-being of the children, the Ministry of Education and Science indicated.
The Cabinet of Ministers' rules also stipulate that in cases where it is impossible to ensure a full educational process for at least one week due to unforeseen circumstances, the head of the educational institution, in agreement with the founder, may decide to extend the school year for grades 1–8 and 10–11.
