More than a third of the country's residents aged 15 to 74 had higher education by the end of last year, according to summarized information from the Central Statistical Bureau, reports LETA.
34.1% of residents in this age group had higher education. At the same time, 28.4% of residents had vocational or secondary vocational education as their highest level of education by the end of last year, while 22.9% had general secondary education.
Additionally, 12.3% of residents aged 15 to 74 had primary education as their highest level of education, and 2.3% had no school education or only had primary education or lower.
