The majority, specifically 87% of employees, believe that decisions regarding workplace food will significantly increase their job satisfaction, according to survey results.
Survey data shows that 73% of employees consider paid meals a significant benefit, with 20% deeming it very important. At the same time, 52% acknowledge that having food available at work helps save time, while 39% note that it makes the workday more efficient.
More than half of employees, specifically 53%, report that employers provide them with snacks, fruits, or drinks, 34% receive free lunches, the same percentage receive seasonal gifts or food packages, and 19% get discounts on food.
In the Baltic countries, the situation is similar. However, there are regional differences regarding the most popular food-related benefits. In Latvia, employees most often receive free lunches, as indicated by 34% of workers, in Lithuania, seasonal gifts or food packages are most common at 39%, while in Estonia, discounts on food and other small everyday perks are reported by 24%.
