Actress Emilia Clarke, in an interview with Variety, refuted rumors that the actors of the series 'Game of Thrones' were earning $300,000 per episode.
'We didn’t earn that much. Can you imagine? Otherwise, I would be driving a couple of Porsches!' she said. The actress shared that the money earned from the project was enough to pay off her parents' mortgage.
Additionally, she mentioned that worldwide fame made her uncomfortable. 'I spent a lot of time trying to understand it. But then you realize it’s just a formula: the less you’re shown on television, the less famous you are. It comes and goes,' Emilia said.
