On May 31, Zhang Lin He was supposed to participate in a promotional campaign for the MOLSION eyewear brand at the shopping mall in Nanning, located in China's Guangxi province. Upon learning of the star's upcoming appearance, numerous fans began gathering at the building from early morning to secure the best spots.

By midday, the area in front of the shopping mall was overcrowded. When the doors finally opened, people from the back rows began pushing forward, eager to get inside first. As a result, a stampede occurred, and the situation got out of control for a while.

Under the pressure of the crowd, one of the glass doors at the entrance suddenly cracked. Large fragments of glass fell to the ground, and shards flew in different directions.

Despite the danger, many fans continued to move forward, paying little attention to the broken glass. Mall staff had to intervene quickly to clear the shards and restore order.

Photos and videos from the scene quickly spread on social media and sparked active discussion among users.

"Zhang Lin He, your fans broke the glass door," "This is very dangerous," "If a serious stampede had started, the consequences could have been catastrophic," commentators wrote.

Some local residents even urged others not to visit the shopping mall with children on the day of the event due to the large crowd.

Later, a representative of MOLSION stated that the organizers decided to cancel the in-person meeting. According to him, the number of visitors turned out to be significantly higher than expected, and it became too difficult to manage the situation.

As a result, the event was moved online for the safety of participants and visitors to the shopping mall.

The incident once again highlighted how significant fan interest can be in popular stars and how important it is for organizers to consider potential risks when conducting such mass events.
