Russell Crowe issued a stern warning to fans while handing out autographs in Paris. The star of "Gladiator" urged fans to maintain distance and threatened to stop interacting if anyone started behaving aggressively or too intrusively.

The actor urged fans to maintain distance and decorum, threatening not to give a single autograph.

62-year-old Russell Crowe reprimanded fans and issued a stern warning while handing out autographs. The star of "Gladiator" recently attended the French Open tennis tournament. He stayed at a hotel in Paris, but the ubiquitous fans tracked down the Hollywood star there as well.

Upon seeing a crowd eager to get as close as possible for photos and coveted autographs, Crowe couldn't take it anymore. He didn't get angry or scold the rowdy fans, but he did urge them to observe proper behavior, according to the Daily Mail.

“Stay where you are. Don’t push, for heaven’s sake. I’ll come to you. Stay away,” Crowe stated.

The Oscar winner, raising his index finger, added: “As soon as someone starts behaving rudely, I’m leaving. Got it?” A few people responded, “Yes,” after which Crowe calmly stepped forward and began handing out autographs on posters.

Despite the stern warning, Russell Crowe continued to interact with fans calmly and gave autographs to those who maintained order. Fans also noted that the actor had noticeably lost weight and was in great shape — during the tennis match, he even dramatically caught a ball that flew into the audience.
