The star of "Sklifosovsky," Anna Nevskaya, who recently experienced the joy of motherhood, shared her perspective on giving birth at a mature age and called for greater tolerance in society.
Anna Nevskaya, known to viewers from the series "Sklifosovsky," experienced one of the most significant events in her life two weeks ago – at 49, she became a mother for the first time. The actress not only shared the joy of her son's birth but also boldly responded to the wave of criticism regarding her late motherhood, emphasizing that such a decision for a woman is "more conscious."
"Late motherhood is a more conscious decision," Nevskaya said, adding that she "probably should have done something at 20, thought about it," but "everyone has different situations."
Moreover, Anna addressed those who rush to judgment, strongly recommending to "be calmer" and "be more tolerant of others," rather than imposing personal beliefs.
Expectation and Birth
The actress candidly shared that the baby was born slightly earlier than planned, but she and her husband, director Dmitry Klepatsky, were fully prepared for this. Dmitry actively participated in the process, being present at the birth. "First, they placed the son on my chest, then Dima took him in his arms," Anna recalled warmly.
Enjoying Every Moment
Now Anna is completely immersed in the joys of motherhood, trying to enjoy every minute to the fullest, as she realizes how fleeting this precious time is. "Amid the emotional and hormonal storm, you try to turn off your rational side and understand that you need to enjoy it, that this time will pass very quickly. You even need to enjoy sleepless nights," the actress shared her philosophical approach.
Future Plans: Stage and Motherhood
However, Anna Nevskaya does not plan to stay away from her professional activities for long. "Actresses don’t stay on maternity leave for too long; I will do everything to be with my son as much as possible in the first months of his life. This is very important for the child. But I also really want to return to work, to the stage. I think I will gradually enter a smooth routine, combining motherhood and the stage," the actress is confident.

Happy News
Nevskaya shared the news of the addition to her family the day before on her social media, posting touching photos from the maternity hospital. Anna and Dmitry named their firstborn Daniil.
The Trend of Mature Motherhood
Anna Nevskaya's case is not unique. Recently, more and more Russian celebrities are choosing motherhood at a mature age. For example, actress Marina Fedunkiv became a mother at 53 thanks to IVF, and her colleague Svetlana Permyakova gave birth to her first child at 40.
