18-year-old Lida Chistyakova-Ionova, known by the stage name Ray, publicly dispelled rumors about her addiction and shared details about her personal life and creative path.
18-year-old Lida, the daughter of the famous singer Glucose (Natalia Chistyakova-Ionova), known for her bold and unusual images, clarified all the points regarding rumors about her drug addiction during the Out Of Talk show. The musician, performing under the stage name Ray, categorically denied any speculation about her addiction to illegal substances. She made it clear that she would never take such a step. "They said I was a drug addict. I am categorically against drugs, especially chemicals and hallucinogens. It hurts me because I am very much against it. I just express myself, not use drugs," Lida firmly stated.
Relationship with Mom
Lida also spoke about her creative relationship with her mother. Although she rarely consults her directly about her musical ideas, Glucose's opinion always matters a lot to her. "She hears the final tracks. We just don’t often cross paths, so we try not to talk about work. We support each other as much as possible," the girl noted warmly.
Difficulties in Relationship with Father
During the conversation on the show, Lida touched on personal aspects of her life. She admitted that her relationship with her father was quite strained in the past, but over time they managed to find common ground and harmony. "For a long time, we built the boundary of father and child and producer and artist. Now we are in an ideal place where there are working debates. In the end, the decision is mine!" Lida said with a smile.
Victory Over Eating Disorder
Additionally, Lida candidly recalled one of the most difficult stages of her life — the struggle with an eating disorder. "I think I was deep in an eating disorder. It was very hard; I had no strength because I wasn’t eating, wasn’t sleeping, just working. I got out of it, everything is fine, I am very happy," she shared, proudly noting that she was able to gain muscle mass and is now completely satisfied with her body.
Scandals Surrounding Glucose
It is worth noting that the suspicions against Lida did not arise out of nowhere. Much of this was provoked by the loud scandals in which Glucose herself became embroiled. In 2024, the singer was detained at Sheremetyevo when a police officer believed she was under the influence of illegal substances. Natalia refused medical examination, for which she was fined. Earlier, at a concert in Krasnoyarsk, her behavior caused a wide resonance: she used profanity, gestured indecently, and struggled to stay on her feet. Later, Glucose explained her condition as a side effect of the antidepressants she was taking after the loss of her grandmother, and hinted at the involvement of her former producer Maxim Fadeev in the detention story, with whom she has long-standing disagreements. Fadeev, in turn, stated that he would "wait for the internal investigation of Chistyakova."
Around the same time, Glucose radically transformed her image: she lightened her eyebrows, made a bold short haircut, and began to appear more frequently in public in quite revealing outfits. Considering that Lida herself is a public figure and is actively developing her music career, all these scandals inevitably cast a shadow on her. Her own extravagant style — bold makeup, unusual outfits — only intensifies the suspicions on social media, where she is accused of the same things her mother was previously accused of.

Lida is the eldest daughter of Natalia Chistyakova-Ionova and businessman Alexander Chistyakov; she also has a younger sister, Vera.
