The court hearing revealed spicy details of the virtual fling of the son of the British king with a member of the press.
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, actively corresponded for about a month with a certain Charlotte Griffiths, completely unaware of her professional activities. This curious detail was revealed by the son of King Charles III during a recent court hearing related to a lawsuit concerning the violation of privacy rights.
During the court hearings, their Facebook messages dated December 2011 – January 2012 came to light. The messages clearly indicated mutual flirtation and even plans for a meeting. Prince Harry emphasized that Charlotte deliberately concealed her job from him.
Shortly after their virtual communication began, fate brought them together at a party hosted by a mutual acquaintance – producer Arthur Landon. Griffiths herself described that evening as "a fun night full of mischief." It was there that Harry discovered with surprise that Charlotte was an employee of the Mail publication. This revelation instantly put an end to their communication.
Just a few months after this episode, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II began a relationship with talented actress and dancer Cressida Bonas, but their romance ended in 2014.
Legal Battles
It is worth noting that Prince Harry, along with celebrities such as Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Jude Law's ex-wife Sadie Frost, is a plaintiff in a major class action lawsuit against the prominent British publication Daily Mail. The stars accuse the media holding of systematic and illegal collection of confidential information about them from 1993 to 2011, which, according to them, was done solely for the purpose of creating scandalous and sensational materials.
Life in California
Now 41-year-old Prince Harry is happily married to 44-year-old actress Meghan Markle. They met in 2016, and just two years later, they tied the knot. The couple's firstborn, son Archie, was born in the UK. In 2020, the spouses decided to step back from their royal duties and moved to sunny California. It was there that their daughter Lilibet was born. In the United States, the dukes are actively involved in various projects, often facing criticism, but they continue to lead a vibrant public life, attending social events and parties.
