The Doctor Named Foods to Increase Testosterone in Men

The gastroenterologist advised men to consume protein to increase testosterone.

Gastroenterologist Yulia Slasten named elements of the daily diet that help men maintain normal testosterone levels.

The doctor from the Krasnogorsk Hospital in the Moscow region recommended regularly consuming fish, lean meat, eggs, and legumes — all of which are rich in complete protein. Additionally, omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish and flaxseed oil improve vascular health and positively affect potency. Zinc and selenium from seafood, nuts, and pumpkin seeds are essential for sperm maturation and the prevention of prostatitis.

Slasten also reminded about the importance of vegetables and greens: they provide the body with antioxidants that protect cells from premature aging. According to her, a varied diet with an emphasis on the mentioned food groups contributes not only to increased testosterone but also to overall male health.
