Loneliness in a dog can be recognized by its excessively long sleep. This method was mentioned by dog trainer Vladimir Golubev.
According to the specialist, if an animal sleeps more than 12-14 hours a day, it may indicate that it suffers from a lack of communication with its owner or with other animals. Other signs of loneliness may include excessive licking, destruction of household items, or loud howling.
"If you establish a proper routine, provide the dog with enough exercise and attention, then your busyness may not be an obstacle," noted the dog trainer.
