Ksenia Sobchak on the Loneliness of the Mind: Why the Journalist Feels a Lack of Conversationalists

TV presenter and journalist Ksenia Sobchak shared her thoughts on the feeling of loneliness, which she describes as "the loneliness of the mind." In her Telegram channel, she noted that it is not about physical isolation but about a lack of conversationalists capable of engaging in discussions on an equal level and participating in meaningful debates.

Ksenia Sobchak Spoke About the Feeling of Loneliness and Intellectual Hunger

Sobchak admitted that she often feels an internal detachment due to a lack of an intellectual "mirror" — a person capable of surprising, debating, and offering alternative viewpoints. According to her, it is precisely the absence of such contact that creates a kind of intellectual hunger and a sense of emptiness, which director Valeria Gai Germanika also described in her reflections.

At the same time, the TV presenter emphasized that she does not remain alone with her experiences. She values the opportunity to discuss complex topics with her loved ones, particularly with her husband Konstantin Bogomolov and Valeria Gai Germanika herself.

"I’m lucky that when I feel lonely, I can call Lera. The world is unfair, grayness reigns everywhere, we will all die. But life is worth living," Sobchak wrote.

Previously, Ksenia Sobchak has repeatedly spoken about the importance of depth in relationships and that she is attracted to confident yet reserved men. Despite her divorce from Maxim Vitorgan, she maintains a respectful relationship with him. For over six years, the TV presenter has been married to director Konstantin Bogomolov.
