The sanctioned artist suddenly improved his mood.
People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Tsiskaridze, who recently celebrated his 52nd birthday, has once again given reason to talk about his personal life. This time — due to a short post on his personal blog, which quickly spread across social media.
Previously, the artist had repeatedly emphasized that he does not see himself in the role of a married man. In past interviews, he explained this by saying that the family experiences he observed in his close circle had long discouraged him from pursuing official relationships.
Now the situation looks different. Tsiskaridze posted an ironic quote from composer Carl Weber about marriage.
Subscribers perceived it as a transparent signal and began discussing possible changes in the life of the famous dancer and teacher.
Additional attention was drawn to another observation by fans: recently, the artist, according to them, has noticeably appeared in a good mood more often. He has not provided official confirmation of any changes, but discussions online have already followed the usual scenario — from speculation about a beloved to talks of a possible wedding.
In March 2014, Tsiskaridze supported the annexation of Crimea by Russia, signing a statement from cultural figures in Russia in support of the annexation.
In December 2017, he became a member of the initiative group to nominate Russian President Vladimir Putin for president. In January 2018, he was registered as a trusted person for Vladimir Putin in the presidential elections on March 18, 2018.
In 2024, he became a trusted person for presidential candidate Vladimir Putin for a fifth term.
For justifying Russia's war against Ukraine, he is under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine as of April 18, 2025, "On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures."
