No children are currently planned in the marriage with Konstantin Bogomolov.
Ksenia Sobchak married director Konstantin Bogomolov six years ago. The journalist is raising her 9-year-old son Platon from her first marriage. Fans often wonder: will Ksenia have a second child in her new marriage? Blogger Ida Galich did not beat around the bush and directly asked Ksenia about it.
During the interview, Ida inquired whether Platon asks for a brother or sister, to which Ksenia replied without hesitation: "No, he doesn’t ask." According to the journalist, Platon does not want to share her with anyone else, so he subtly hints to his mother that a second child is unnecessary. Sobchak recalled that she was also an only child and did not want her parents to have more children.
"He is like me in this respect. I remember causing trouble for my mom. I would say: God forbid, I want to be alone, you must love only me. I obviously didn’t tell Platon this, but he is like me. He is selfish in this sense," Ksenia said.
According to her, Platon places special emphasis on her busyness and says that with her tight schedule, she simply won’t have time to raise a second child.
"Mom, you should only belong to me. You already have so much work. What other children are there anyway," Sobchak laughs.
At the same time, Ksenia did not answer the question of whether she still wants to have a common child with Konstantin Bogomolov. "That’s a very personal question. I won’t answer it," Ksenia cut in.
Sobchak's son is in the second grade at one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the capital. The boy has been studying English and Chinese since infancy. The TV presenter mentioned that her son has a technical mindset, loves mathematics, and is achieving success in school Olympiads.
44-year-old Ksenia Sobchak and 50-year-old Konstantin Bogomolov got married in September 2019. The celebration, which the entire social elite of the capital attended, caused quite a stir. The newlyweds left the registry office in a hearse, and then the newly minted wife danced in front of the guests at the banquet in her underwear.
Many were convinced that Sobchak and Bogomolov's wedding was just a publicity stunt and that the couple would split up in a year or two. But six years have passed, and the spouses are still together. "In men, I value the scale of personality, self-irony, and an ironic view of life, genius and paradoxical thinking. I am lucky with my husband. I met someone who is truly of a different scale, and with this scale, you can relax," Sobchak admitted.
However, the financial success in this marriage undoubtedly belongs to Ksenia. The TV presenter earns much more than her husband. However, it seems that Konstantin is not bothered by this.
