Cardiologist Reveals How to Live Without Hypertension

Giving up harmful habits will help eliminate hypertension.

Living without hypertension is possible; it simply requires leading a healthy lifestyle, ensuring there is no excess weight, and giving up harmful habits. This was stated by general practitioner and cardiologist Denis Prokofyev.

According to the doctor, people experience fluctuations in blood pressure mainly due to stress, excessive consumption of salty foods and alcohol, as well as smoking.

"Episodes of increased blood pressure, as a symptomatic form, occur in almost everyone, but sometimes it is enough to eliminate the provoking factors to reduce the risks of developing arterial hypertension," Prokofyev is convinced.

The cardiologist added that the earlier people pay attention to high blood pressure and identify possible causes, the greater the chances of avoiding the diagnosis of 'hypertension.' When determining the diagnosis, specialists rely on a blood pressure reading of 120 over 80.
