This year, as of March 12, 15 people have died in traffic accidents, which is 11 fewer than in the same period last year, the State Police reported.
Last year, 118 people died in road traffic accidents, which is seven more than the year before. 326 people sustained serious injuries, which is 13 more than in 2024, while 3,528 road users suffered minor injuries.
A total of 17,818 accidents were recorded last year, which is 203 more than in 2024.
