The doctor identified a 'harmless' symptom of cancer.
Common during the New Year holidays, bloating may be a sign of serious illnesses, including cancer. The 'harmless' symptom was described by senior clinical consultant at The Independent Pharmacy, Donald Grant, as reported by The Sun.
'In women, this symptom can often be a sign of ovarian cancer, and it may also indicate food intolerance or the presence of tumors,' he said.
According to him, bloating can indicate diverticulitis or Crohn's disease. However, this condition should only be a cause for concern if it persists for two to three weeks.
Earlier, British doctors identified a non-obvious symptom of deadly diseases hiding in morning sheets. 'If you regularly wake up on wet sheets, you should see a doctor,' the doctors clarified.
