Entrepreneur and art patron Janis Zuzans exchanged rings with his beloved Ilze Grinberga in September after four years of relationship. For some time after the wedding, the new wife still lived under her previous surname, but now it has been changed, Zuzans happily informed the magazine Privātā Dzīve.
After the marriage, Janis Zuzans' wife Ilze still used her old surname — Grinberga. Now the entrepreneur proudly notes that this issue has been settled.
"Before the wedding, we bought plane tickets under Ilze's previous surname, so it was easier to postpone the name change at that time," he explains.
"About a month after the wedding, she became Zuzane and gets along very well with it. Now we are the Zuzans couple," he proudly says.
Before the holidays, Janis bought a whole mountain of gifts for relatives and friends at the JAUNmarka student art fair. The couple planned to celebrate the holidays at their home in Augšlīgatne with Ilze's children — Janis and Ulla.
"Before that, I will stop by to see my daughters and visit my mother, who is already 94 years old," Zuzans adds. The festive atmosphere at home has been taken care of by his new wife: "Ilze is an artist and at the same time very practical. She creates, crochets, and decorates. She enjoys all of this, and Ilze truly enjoys preparing for the holidays. The home has already been completely transformed to create a real festive mood. I feel her creative spirit in everyday life at every step. So everything is going very well for us!"
