Судя по трейлеру, полнометражный фильм «Простоквашино» не будет сильно отклоняться от сюжета анимационного первоисточника.

The outdoor filming took place in a fairy-tale village built by the film team.

At the beginning of 2026, the full-length film "Prostokvashino" will be released in Russian theaters — a live-action adaptation of the legendary Soviet cartoon trilogy. The project is directed by Sarik Andreasyan. The cast features many prominent names: from Sharik — Pavel Derevyanko to Pechkin — Ivan Okhlobystin.

Plot

An ordinary boy Fedya (Roman Pankov), whom everyone calls Uncle Fyodor, lives in Moscow with his parents. Uncle Fyodor loves animals and dreams of having a furry pet. His life changes after meeting Matroskin — a clever talking cat. Uncle Fyodor offers Matroskin to move in with him, but the boy's mother (Liza Moryak) is against it. Upset, Uncle Fyodor decides to leave Moscow and go in search of a new home. Uncle Fyodor and the cat Matroskin choose a village with a "dairy" name — Prostokvashino.

The outdoor filming of "Prostokvashino" took place in a fairy-tale village built by the film team. Sarik Andreasyan explained that it was impossible to find a real village that looked fairy-tale-like. At the same time, he assured that the location created for filming looks as realistic as possible.

The first news about the cast of the new "Prostokvashino" appeared in June 2024 at the "Pilot" festival. It was then announced that the role of Uncle Fyodor would be played by Roman Pankov ("Deniska's Stories"), and the postman Pechkin would be portrayed on screen by Ivan Okhlobystin ("Interns").
