The star of Russian folk music revealed some details of her previous communication with the Primadonna.
75-year-old Nadezhda Babkina spoke quite sharply, but without insults, about the current behavior of 76-year-old Alla Pugacheva. The artist does not deny that she had been friends with the Primadonna for many years and never felt any animosity towards her. But now, much has changed.
In an interview with Vyacheslav Manucharov, Babkina stated that she had not watched Pugacheva's much-discussed three-hour interview due to a lack of time.
The star also revealed some details of her previous communication with Alla Borisovna, which has now come to an end. "We met, we were in companies together. I did not irritate her, but she irritated me. We found common topics. But I do not know what is in a person's head, why blame the homeland? The people of this homeland adored her, worshipped her... I have no idea what prompted this — I don’t know. This is not close to me," Babkina said.
Moreover, as recently as May of this year, the singer did not hold back in her expressions regarding her colleague. When asked why Pugacheva so vehemently criticizes her country, calling her compatriots "serfs and slaves," Babkina unhesitatingly diagnosed the Primadonna: "This is impotence. Hence the rage. Unhealthy people. The cuckoo has come off its rocker."
