Until August 30, a special exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Bikernieki racetrack is open at the Riga Motor Museum.
The exhibition tells the story of one of the most important motorsport venues in the Baltic States, providing a unique opportunity to see more than 20 historical exhibits related to racing – motorcycles, go-karts, Formula 1 cars, and racing vehicles that have shaped the legend of the Bikernieki track over different periods.
In addition to the equipment, the exhibition features historical materials – photographs, posters, track relics, and items related to athletes, allowing visitors to learn about the development of the track, the atmosphere of competition, and the personalities who have left a significant mark in the history of Latvian auto and motorsport.
Over the past six decades, the Bikernieki track has become an integral symbol of Latvian motorsport, hosting countless world-class competitions and nurturing several generations of athletes. The anniversary exhibition at the Riga Motor Museum is an opportunity to reflect on this significant heritage and appreciate the place of the track in the history of Latvian sports and technical culture.
