HAUSER Returns to Sigulda with a Special Program Dedicated to Film Music

On August 5, cello superstar HAUSER, accompanied by an orchestra, will return to the picturesque stage of Sigulda Castle with the concert program "The Magic of Cinema," dedicated to film music. Celebrating the timeless legacy of film music, the artist has decided to perform only at special European venues, including our Sigulda.

World-renowned cellist HAUSER announces an unforgettable concert dedicated to his latest album "Cinema" - a grand tribute to the most unforgettable melodies in the history of cinema. "Cinema" is more than just an album: it is a passionate journey through legendary soundtracks from films of all time. Expect the unexpected!

This special performance invites audiences into HAUSER's cinematic universe, where beloved film themes, timeless classics, and selected compositions from the album "Cinema" come together for an evening of elegance, emotion, and orchestral splendor.

Released in September 2025, the album "Cinema" features 25 film themes reimagined in HAUSER's signature style, recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Robert Ziegler. The album spans decades and includes iconic pieces such as What Was I Made For?, Mission: Impossible, The Music of the Night, A Time for Us, Writing’s on the Wall, as well as romantic themes from Somewhere in Time and Out of Africa.

HAUSER explains: "The 'Cinema' project has been maturing in my mind for a long time. I have always wanted to contribute to the world of film music. I wanted to give these beautiful soundtracks the form they can have both outside and beyond the meaning of the film itself. I want people to listen and try to remember the feelings and emotions that these films evoked in them. And I truly believe that everything sounds better with a cello, so I hope this will be a unique and wonderful experience for film lovers. Some themes are world-famous, while others are hidden gems. But once audiences hear them performed on the cello, I believe they will fall in love with them."

Known for his magnetic stage presence, the musician has performed in over 40 countries, at renowned venues such as Radio City Music Hall and Royal Albert Hall, and alongside artists like Andrea Bocelli, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Elton John. His creative journey also includes performances at the Venice International Film Festival, a concert for the Pope, and features in leading global media. Some time ago, HAUSER launched a project on his social media called "Music Unites the World" - a project in which he will record an iconic song from each country in the world to spread a message of unity through music. It is already curious which song he will choose for Latvia?
