On April 18, at 18:00, the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra will give a concert in the White Hall of the Rundale Palace as part of the "Sounds of Liepaja at the Rundale Palace" series.
The program will feature the Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra by Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů, the madrigal "Moro, lasso, al mio duolo" by Italian Renaissance composer Carlo Gesualdo, as well as Mozart's "Haffner Symphony" and the symphony "Balsis" by Latvian composer Pēteris Vasks.
The event will include the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra, with oboist Renate Trapane as the soloist, and the concert will be conducted by Jānis Stafeckis.
