From March 6 to 8, the Saint Casimir Fair — Kazukas, the oldest and largest event in Europe dedicated to crafts, will take place in the Old Town of Vilnius.
The Kazukas Fair is one of the oldest and most significant folk craft festivals in Europe. Its history dates back to the 17th century, and it is held annually in early March in honor of Saint Casimir, the patron saint of craftsmen and the prince-king of Lithuania.
This is not just a market — it is a cultural phenomenon, a celebration of spring and craftsmanship that attracts thousands of residents of Lithuania and tourists from around the world.
What to Expect at the Fair?
Craft Products
For several kilometers along the ancient streets, more than 1,200 artisans and craftsmen will showcase a variety of products:

ceramics and pottery;

wooden toys, spoons, and decorations;

handmade jewelry;

leather and textile products;
-
traditional verba — bright "palm" compositions for Easter.
Many artisans not only sell but also demonstrate their skills live — you can see how pottery is made, weaving, and how blacksmiths and carpenters work.
Delicious Traditions and Gastronomy
The fair is also a gastronomic event:

aromatic šakotis (traditional Lithuanian cake),

fresh bread and honey gingerbread,
