The popular publication The Numbers has updated the list of the highest-grossing actors in film history. Zoe Saldana now holds the top spot — films featuring the American actress have grossed over $15.46 billion.
The highest earnings for the actress came from two major Disney franchises — the Marvel Cinematic Universe and James Cameron's "Avatar" trilogy. Scarlett Johansson took the second spot, while Samuel L. Jackson rounded out the top three — these actors also occupy high positions thanks to Marvel.
In sixth place is Tom Cruise — the only one on the list who has not starred in major superhero franchises.
