The first trailer for the Russian sequel 'Zhdun-2' has been presented. The comedic continuation of the story about the famous internet character will be released in theaters in April 2026.
In the new installment, Zhdun will return to Earth once again — this time he must find his friend Nikita, who is spending the summer at a children's camp. However, the alien's visit coincides with the appearance of adversaries intent on interfering in the lives of Earthlings. To fend off the unwanted guests, the heroes will have to team up with Nikita's sister, their grandfather, and the camp staff.
Director Dmitry Suvorov noted that the sequel will be larger in scale and brighter than the first part, while preserving the atmosphere of friendship and kindness that made the character beloved by audiences. The film features Karen Arutyunov, Andrey Andreev, Margarita Silaeva, Vladislav Vetrov, and Nikita Tarasov. The cast also includes Alexander Revva, Elena Valyushkina, Sergey Chirkov, and other artists.
